An open scene is the basis of all improv comedy. In short the open scene is improv comedy. The hundreds of structures covered in Learn Improv are there to support the open scene. All performers should be training and assessing their skill set at the open scene. All bow to the open scene.

Conducted Story-Back

The line of players are tasked with telling a story together. The leader will pick one player to start the story. The conductor switches player by touching their back. The player will continue to tell the story. Without warning the leader will switch to another player and that player will seamlessly pick up the story.
