In a Line Gag the players are called upon to make short quips relating to the gag type chosen by the leader. We will use the storied example of 99 strings. In 99 Strings there is a very structured format where players make gags about nouns getting kicked out of a drinking establishment.
La Ronde
La Ronde is a long form structure focusing on how characters interact before they are lovers and after they are lovers. Like the play that it is based on, La Ronde, is a very structured series of scenes. Each player does 4 scenes maintaining the same character for each scene. The 1st and 2nd scenes are with 2 other characters before they have become lovers. The 3rd and 4th scenes are with the same 2 characters after they became lovers.
