The leader calls out “jump” to the players milling about the room. Every player will make a small jump and strike a random pose. This new pose struck by the player could inform the setting, or ties of a narrative. The leader ask a player to discuss their position from a stand point of the STEPS narrative and then the group starts milling about again.

Jump-Association

The leader calls out the name of one of the players milling about the room. That player will make a small jump and strike a random pose. The remaining players in the room rush to that player and strike poses around her. The players will create a still scene, not unlike a tableau.

Popcorn

Players randomly and unexpectedly jump up in to the air. At some time in the air they clap their hands. Since other players are also randomly jumping and clapping simultaneously the name popcorn seems appropriate. If two players clap their hands at the same time they are out of the circle.
